Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist Certification is required at the time of application
• Prior experience working in school-based OT preferred, with a strong understanding of educational processes
• Confident managing caseloads for both high school and elementary populations
• Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
• Ability to quickly integrate and collaborate with educational teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to students, assessing and addressing needs to foster academic and functional success
• Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and support staff to develop tailored strategies and accommodations
• Promote students’ participation in school routines, fine motor skills, and self-care abilities
• Travel between two schools as needed, ensuring consistent services for assigned caseload
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with school policies and professional standards

This role offers a consistent 35-hour work week, with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027. You’ll have the chance to see the long-term impact of your expertise while working within a supportive educational community.
