About the Role:

The Outside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by actively engaging with prospective and existing clients within the heavy equipment rental and services industry. This position requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships through face-to-face interactions, understanding client needs, and offering tailored rental solutions that align with their business objectives. The representative will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets. Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or relevant education with proper training.
• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the rental, leasing, or related service industries.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within assigned sales territories.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a sales pipeline effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools to manage customer relationships and sales data.
• Knowledge of rental and leasing industry regulations and best practices.
• Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to tailor sales strategies.
• Previous experience working in a B2B sales environment.
• Additional certifications in sales or customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams including operations and customer service to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Track sales activities, prepare reports, and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
