Dealership Porter

The Dealership Porter at Moss Motors, Inc. will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's vehicle inventory and overall dealership appearance. This is a full-time, hourly position, located in Lafayette, Louisiana. As an individual contributor, the Dealership Porter will play a crucial role in ensuring the dealership presents a professional and welcoming environment for both customers and employees.

The compensation for this position is $13 hour. Compensation is paid bi-weekly, and full-time employees are eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the dealership lot and showroom clean and organized, including sweeping, dusting, and trash removal
• Ensure vehicles on the lot are lined up and parked according to dealership standards
• Drive vehicles to other dealership locations or customer locations as needed
• Maintain showroom display vehicles by dusting, wiping down, and adding necessary fluids
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the service department and park them in designated areas
• Assist with snow removal during inclement weather
• Keep the service drive clean and clear of any debris or obstructions
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low
• Participate in regular dealership and lot clean-up days as scheduled
• Follow all safety and company policies and procedures, including OSHA and EPA guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and time-management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor such as shoveling snow or moving vehicles
• Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required
