About the Role Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire a Commercial Department Install Manager in our Entry Door Division at our Olathe, Kansas office. The manager schedules, dispatches, manages projects, and controls labor costs. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the install department. Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure the plan is properly executed. Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost‑effective manner. Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget and to the satisfaction of the customer. Review monthly financial and operational reports and work with front‑line managers to develop action plans for improvement. Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly, and yearly performance reviews. Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred. 3–5 years of management experience preferred; ideally supervisory or managerial responsibilities in a company that services or installs new equipment or products. Ability to manage and develop skilled field technicians/installers and office personnel focused on minimizing labor costs and maximizing profit. Excellent communicator, highly organized, and possessing good mechanical aptitude. Valid driver’s license.
