Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current California OT license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Familiarity with IEP development and school-based documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet each child’s needs
• Open to new graduates eager to launch a school-based OT career

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to identify needs and develop suitable treatment plans
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions during the school day, focusing on helping students participate fully in classroom activities
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student success and generalize skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to shape student goals
• Maintain accurate, timely records of student progress and intervention outcomes
• Partner with teachers to offer strategies for classroom-based support and environmental adaptations
