Operations Analyst II

The Operations Analyst II supports the Florida Department of Health in Polk County as a primary informatics point of contact for HMS EHR training, implementation, and technical support across clinical divisions. The role includes managing EHR enhancements, providing user consultation, administering system access and support, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and data management standards. The incumbent works with operations staff to evaluate technology improvements and participates in statewide EHR user groups. Key Qualifications Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, HMS, and EagleSoft software Healthcare environment records management, billing, and coding knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to train and support end users Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to evaluate systems and processes Understanding of HIPAA, medical records confidentiality, and information security standards Current Florida Driver License and Information Custodian certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
