This role supports safe, reliable, and efficient operation of power generation equipment through troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance strategy development, outage planning, equipment repair oversight, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.The position works closely with operations, maintenance, outage planning, reliability, procurement, and external vendors to identify equipment issues, recommend corrective actions, support planned and unplanned outages, and ensure repairs and upgrades meet applicable technical, safety, quality, and performance requirements.Job DescriptionTechnical support for the fossil fleet operations and maintenance for rotating equipmentPerform root cause analysisProvide innovative engineering solutions for difficult problemsContributes to economic justification/analysis for projectsParticipate in and lead special projects or teamsIndividual contributor in Mechanical Rotating Equipment EngineeringProvides technical support on a fleetwide basis, specific to turbinesMaintain effective working relationships.
