Maintenance Technician Night Shift

Location 3321 Soldier Crk Rd, Wellington, UT 84542 Position Full‑time Mechanic – Mobile Equipment & Material Handling Systems Responsibilities Change and adjust brakes, oil filters, and wheel bearings; mount tires and grease CMV's. Check and fill gear boxes; change springs and clutch components; understand and repair air brake and steering systems. Maintain equipment tire requirements and optimize ongoing maintenance. Perform maintenance tasks at the shop, yard, field, and roadside during service calls. Diagnose problems and safely carry out routine services. Order and maintain inventories; coordinate and schedule services and record keeping. Steam, clean trailers and perform repairs as needed. Abide by DOT regulations and track all paperwork. Qualifications Formal education in diesel mechanics or equivalent proven work experience (preferred). 2–5 years relevant experience. High School diploma or GED. Experience with air brake systems. Knowledge of DOT regulations.Must own a set of tools. Willing to live or relocate to the Price, UT area. Able to work safely in an industrial setting and comply with OSHA and state regulations. Willing to work nights and weekends. Physical Requirements Navigate harsh weather, high places, uneven ground, and industrial hazards. Work in environments with hazardous noise, confined spaces, hot or cold conditions. Comfortable with heights, stairs, ladders; wear PPE. Walk on uneven ground. Pass a fit test and pulmonary function test for respirator use; recertify annually. Lift up to 70 pounds frequently. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with match.
