This opportunity is based on a Skilled Assembler career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience Requirements Minimum 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment Experience using hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic toolsJob Duties Assemble mechanical and electrical products and subassemblies using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools Follow manufacturing work instructions and established assembly procedures Perform assembly tasks including arranging, grouping, placing, taping, sealing, welding, and packaging products Inspect materials and report defects or quality concerns to supervisors Complete production assignments according to manufacturing schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform basic counting and simple mathematical calculations as neededPreferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred. Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial. Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Mechanical Assembler.Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
