Senior Revenue Accountant
Jobtailor
- Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close
- Prepare journal entries and detailed revenue-related balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation
- Analyze new and evolving revenue arrangements and recommend accounting treatments based on relevant guidance
- Maintain and improve audit-ready workpapers and supporting schedules
- Use data analysis to investigate revenue variances, validate reconciliations, and identify discrepancies
- Identify inefficiencies or gaps in revenue accounting and billing workflows and implement improvements
- Evaluate AI and automation tools, run experiments, build AI workflows, and implement solutions for repeatable work
- Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate financial data
- Support ERP implementation, new revenue streams, GAAP conversion, new entity consolidation, and automation initiatives
