Computing Architect (Manhattan Warehouse M.S.) – Hialeah, FL. Responsibilities Design, develop, modify, and evaluate computer programs for internal functional areas (finance, human resources, marketing, etc.). Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (business SMEs, architects, developers, SIs) to assess current processes and propose solutions to enhance systems. Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions; execute full‑cycle configuration to meet business needs, updating associated documentation. Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers. Assess and propose capabilities and trade‑offs with business and SIs to promote adoption of standard best practices. Perform programming assignments independently while receiving closer supervision on systems design elements. Demonstrate Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable manner. Adapt to variable time zones (APAC, Europe, US) and develop conversion and system implementation plans. Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation and recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards. Perform additional related duties as required. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of related work experience. 3+ years of experience with test planning/scripting and conducting interface integration testing (including Manhattan Warehouse Management Open System, WMOS). Knowledge of Manhattan WMOS application and troubleshooting experience. At least one year of end‑to‑end Manhattan WMS implementation experience. Ability to act as a liaison between functional and technical teams. 2+ years of on‑site support to increase client value and manage tasks and deadlines with minimal guidance. Understanding of the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of functional architecture solutions. Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements; a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of total IT experience and a relevant advanced science degree or technical education. 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting Manhattan Associates WMOS product. Experience setting up integration with ERP, TMS, OMS, LMS, etc., using MIF or other middleware. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and reporting. Ability to create supporting documentation and solution requirements based on functional, technical, and process needs. Practical problem‑solving skills in situations with limited standardization. Strong configuration skills for supply chain software systems to meet business needs.
