Corporate Position Accounting Associate Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Submits invoices to customers. Answers general customer questions, including updating accounts. Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions. Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounting as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: T his position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.1-2 years of previous related experience is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs. Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
