Mammography Technologist

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating shifts: 7:30AM - 3:00PM, 7:30AM - 4:00PM, 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Schedule provided one month in advance.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic mammograms and assisting the radiologist and referring physicians in mammographic procedures. The position ensures quality patient care while effectively utilizing mammographic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Produce and ensure high-quality diagnostic mammograms.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during mammographic procedures.
• Provide care based on age-specific competency standards.
• Make technical decisions to optimize mammographic image quality.
• Perform additional duties related to the Reno Breast Center as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Current ARRT and NV State License (must have license before start date).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
