Job Description

Learn the ins and outs of food service distribution in the exciting industry of Gourmet Foods. Your ability to excel and exceed expectations will drive the results you receive from this opportunity.

Schedule -- Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Requirements

Ability to handle and lift merchandise weighing up to 75 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Computer Literate, working with electronic scanning devices maintaining inventory.
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow- up skills
Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
Strong verbal and written communication skills in ENGLISH required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Duties to include :

Pulling & packing UPS & Alterman(Outgoing shipments)
Loading merchandise into the truck according to the order of the invoices.
Pulling outgoing merchandise for the deliveries
Receiving, counting, stripping pallets, & putting away incoming merchandise.
Being responsible for the maintenance & cleanliness of the warehouse.
Handling return merchandise and/or customer pick-ups

Working Environment:

The cooler portion of the warehouse is 66&degree; & the freezer portion is 0&degree; -5&degree;.
The merchandise on the warehouse racks, is hand stacked.
Pallet-Jack, reach truck, hand trucks, & rolling ladder are provided.
Back-braces, gloves, & a freezer-suit are provided.
