Assistant General Manager

Salary: $80,000–$90,000/year, DOE

• Lead the floor and set the tone for thoughtful, consistent service
• Coach, train, and develop team members in real time
• Build accountability while creating opportunities for people to grow
• Partner with the General Manager on recruiting, hiring, scheduling, payroll, and performance
• Maintain strong communication between the floor, kitchen, and leadership teams
• Manage and understand labor, inventory, COGS, budgets, and P&L performance
• Stay close to the guest experience — read the room, build relationships, and step in where needed
• Support the team’s knowledge of the menu, ingredients, seasonality, and beverage program
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, organization, and restaurant presentation
• Support events, catering, and special services

• 3+ years of progressive restaurant management experience, including direct responsibility for leading a floor and managing people
• Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants where food and beverage are central to the experience
• Genuine curiosity and passion for food, beverage, ingredients, seasonality, and hospitality
• Proven ability to hire, train, coach, develop, and hold people accountable
• Strong understanding of labor, scheduling, payroll, inventory, COGS, budgets, and P&L
• Natural presence and personality, with the ability to connect with guests and teams
• Strong judgment and the ability to remain composed and make thoughtful decisions in a fast-moving environment
• Clear, respectful communication and a leadership style grounded in accountability and care
• A hands-on approach to service and willingness to step in wherever the team needs you
• Strong organizational skills and comfort with restaurant technology, POS systems, and Excel/Google Sheets
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
