Surgery Scheduler (Bilingual Spanish/English) Full time, Contract-to-Hire $26.00$32.00/hr (DOE) On-site Irvine, CA & Laguna Woods, CA MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM Overview Join a well-established specialty clinic and support day-to-day patient coordination and procedure scheduling. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, detailed oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in surgery scheduling within an EMR/EHR environment. Key Responsibilities Answer and route incoming calls professionally; provide excellent patient/customer service Schedule procedures/surgeries and coordinate related appointments Insurance verification and basic eligibility checks Chart preparation and documentation support prior to visits/procedures Coordinate with clinical staff/providers to ensure accurate scheduling and workflow Perform additional front office/administrative support as needed Required Qualifications Bilingual: English & Spanish (spoken and written) is required Prior surgery scheduling experience is required Experience working in a medical office using EMR/EHR Strong customer service mindset; friendly, professional communication style Knowledge of medical terminology Reliable transportation Must be able to provide two professional references
