This role will be at the forefront of providing direct patient care in a residential setting, focusing on individuals dealing with mental health issues, substance use recovery, and addiction treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA regulations, excellent critical thinking abilities, and a proven track record in conflict resolution. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring at least 2 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities:

1. Providing direct patient care, including monitoring and assisting with daily living activities.
2. Supporting individuals in their substance use recovery and addiction treatment journey.
3. Utilizing effective crisis prevention techniques to manage challenging behaviors and situations.
4. Observing and documenting patient behavior, symptoms, responses to treatment, and progress.
5. Supervising clients to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.
6. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
7. Providing discharge support to patients and their families, including education and resources for continued recovery.
8. Maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
9. Utilizing critical thinking skills to make informed decisions under pressure.
10. Resolving conflicts in a respectful and effective manner, promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, mental health support, or a related field.
2. Knowledge and experience in substance use recovery and addiction treatment.
3. Proven experience in direct patient care and client supervision.
4. Excellent observation and reporting skills.
5. Strong understanding of confidentiality principles and HIPAA regulations.
6. Experience in crisis prevention and conflict resolution.
7. Ability to think critically and make informed decisions in high-stress situations.
8. Knowledge and experience in discharge support.
9. Experience in a residential care setting is preferred.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
