As a Security Officer Full Time Access Point Operations in Denver, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a retail location, where you will help create a welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Proficiency in using computers or tablets is necessary. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications and performing data entry tasks.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  A background in customer service is preferred. Candidates should exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store personnel, vendors, delivery drivers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor entry, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, receiving areas, sales floors, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
