This includes the assessment and analysis of patient skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, supervision of treatment implementation, collaboration with caregivers, and ongoing coaching of behavioral technicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain treatment plans Ensure 100% treatment adherence during all supervision hours each month Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to determine their function Design functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of protocols Direct behavioral technicians in the implementation of new or revised protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Support technicians on-site to ensure best practices of direct observation Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals, adjusting protocols based on data Update treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory and therapy hours Communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) accurately Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Include caregivers as part of the treatment team via consistent collaboration meetings Engage with payers for funding meetings (e.g., IEP, peer reviews) collaboratively and professionally Stay current on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence Maintain appropriate documentation in skills and the patient medical record Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times Collaborate consistently and effectively with other center leadership, including Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator, and Behavior Technician Leads Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field (required) Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (required) Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Empathetic and compassionate; maintains strict confidentiality Collaborates effectively with team members while maintaining a positive, solution-focused attitude Works independently to problem‑solve and exercise clinical judgment Communicates effectively in both verbal and written formats Exhibits excellent time‑management skills in a fast‑paced, changing environment Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook; starts new systems and devices (e.g., iPads) easily Desires continuous learning and skill development Willing to work in varied locations (center, patient home, etc.) Willing to work with a variety of patients Provides reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Must pass a tuberculosis test Fluent in English, both written and verbal Physical Requirements Work with patients seated on floor, small chairs, or various home, school, community, and clinic environments Move frequently to gather materials, anticipate patient movements, and provide instruction Maintain position to respond to patient movements and behaviors, including bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching Use continuous visual tracking to monitor patient and environmental movements Evade aggressive behaviors and physically block attempts to aggress toward others, when necessary Possibly bear weight of a patient leaning or pushing Teach patients vocal speech; articulate sounds clearly and model speaking Use modeling to teach gross and fine motor skills (e.g., climbing, jumping, clapping, opening containers) Work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions (community skills, recess, etc.) Lift up to 30 lbs. while assisting patients Work Environment Treatment may occur in patient homes, CARD centers, schools, community settings, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors work in both indoor and outdoor settings, often moving between locations during the workday, and may encounter loud or excessive noise.
