Structural Welder

Structural Welder We are seeking a skilled structural welder to fabricate and assemble oil and gas equipment, including large reels, hose spools, accumulator tanks, subsea equipment, and other coiling equipment. The role involves welding primarily using MIG and flux core techniques on carbon and stainless steel materials, with occasional projects requiring special materials such as Inconel and Monel. Experience with TIG welding is a plus, as some projects may require this skill. The position demands proficiency in executing 100% full penetrant welds. Essential Skills 5+ years of structural welding experience. Proficiency in MIG and flux core welding. Ability to weld uphill with MIG and flux core. Experience in performing 100% full penetrant welds. Work Environment Work in an open-aired, clean shop with hours from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturdays as needed. Currently, the hours are 6am to 6pm on weekdays and 6am to 2:30pm on Saturdays, but this may vary. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77064. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
