Step into a day on our pressroom floor

You clock in for 2nd shift and take command of an 8‑color Komori sheet‑fed press with H‑UV double coating. You cue up the next ticket, confirm customer specs, and dial in color with modern Color Control Systems (CCS). Trapping, gray balance, dot gain, and Solid Ink Density (SID) are your language. You keep the E.C./U.V. curing systems humming, switch between aqueous and UV coatings, and run production with precision.

When something is unclear, you raise a hand fast—seeking clarification before a single sheet is wasted. Between jobs, you keep your area spotless, follow SOPs to the letter, and help the team hit top-tier quality benchmarks. By shift’s end, you’ve moved work through quickly, safely, and to spec.

• Operate an 8‑Color Double Coater H‑UV Komori sheet‑fed press with accuracy and care.
• Set up and maintain E.C./U.V. curing systems; apply aqueous or UV coatings as required.
• Use CCS to manage color; interpret trapping, gray balance, and dot gain data to maintain SID.
• Run each job exactly to ticket specifications and customer requirements.
• Ask for guidance when tasks or responsibilities are ambiguous.
• Support production so every job meets the highest quality standards.
• Keep a safe, orderly, and clean press area; uphold department housekeeping standards.
• Follow company and department SOPs and policies; pitch in on additional tasks as needed.

• 5+ years in the printing industry/pressroom.
• Expert quality control skills and relentless attention to detail; strong organization.
• Works independently and as part of a team; strong interpersonal communication.
• Thrives in a fast pace with shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Physical demands: lift ~40 lbs regularly; stand for most of the shift with frequent walking, kneeling, and reaching; constant use of hands and arms.
• Lift at least 50 lbs during maintenance (roller maintenance).
• Proficiency: Packaging Experience.
