About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our People Services & Operations team in Santa Fe Springs, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legislation. You will partner closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and People Partners to support payroll execution, resolve employee inquiries, drive process improvements, and help maintain a high standard of payroll accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Manage pre-payroll, on-cycle payroll, and off-cycle payroll processing activities.
• Review, validate, and reconcile employee time records and payroll data.
• Process overtime, statutory holiday pay, paid time off, retroactive adjustments, and other payroll transactions.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries.
• Support payroll reconciliations, reporting activities, audits, and year-end processes.
• Partner with HR, Operations, Finance, and People Partners to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Identify payroll risks, support control requirements, and recommend process improvements.

Who We Are Looking For

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience working with ADP payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll practices and applicable employment standards legislation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile payroll data.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000*

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
