Plant Manager

Plant ManagerPiston Automotive is seeking a Plant Manager for our Marion, OH location. The Plant Manager is a critical thinker who will direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for Production, Maintenance, Quality, HR, Finance, IT and all other production-related activities within the site. This position manages all employees in the plant and is responsible for their performance management, with input from other functional leaders, on an annual basis. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and planning experience as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Piston Automotive wasn't just founded to make things. Finance, Engineering or a related fieldA minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing in a union environment.Eight years of experience leading salaried employeesA minimum of eight (8) years of experience with: Lean Manufacturing Principles 5-S Kanban Kaizen Poka-Yoke Six Sigma Root Cause AnalysisMust be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 poundsVision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:Automotive industry experienceSix Sigma Black Belt certificationLean Manufacturing certification
