Unit Secretary - Biomed

Job Description
Provides administrative and office support to Directors and Coordinators in assigned departments in so that department leadership is available for more specialized tasks. Contributes to departmental operations and workflow by successful accomplishment of administrative tasks. Promotes customer service and cost consciousness and contributes to the departmental and hospital priorities. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma PREFERRED EDUCATION: Additional academic courses preferable. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five years secretarial/office assistant experiencePREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Hospital experienceREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE : NAPREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NAREQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): NA
