Position Summary Physical Therapist I, Correctional Facility. Located at Kern Valley State Prison, Delano, CA. Responsibilities Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the supervisory direction of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, administer physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility; interpret to patients the significance of physical therapy services; comply with applicable State and federal laws, regulations, and departmental policies; maintain order, supervise the conduct of the incarcerated, and maintain safety of persons and property and security of working areas and materials.
