Software Engineer Staff - Top Secret Clearance Required to Start

Overview Lockheed Martin Space seeks a Software Engineer within the Victor Portfolio of Space Security to develop web applications that protect space assets. The role is part of an Agile team, working on a command and control application across multiple classification domains. Responsibilities Collaborate with Software Engineers to implement solutions and develop new features for a command and control application. Serve as a software developer on an Agile team tasked with developing cutting‑edge web applications within multiple classification domains. Participate in daily scrums, sprint and release planning, demos, and retrospectives. Develop and demonstrate software capabilities to both internal and external partners. Qualifications Experience in software development using languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc. Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence. US citizenship required for government security clearance. Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain or maintain SCI clearance. Strong communication skills and willingness to engage in frequent internal interactions. Experience with application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift). Experience with .NET Core, Angular, GitLab CI/CD, PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern cloud platforms. Experience with Horizon command and control services for satellites, antennas, and ground hardware assets. Experience with cross‑functional Agile teams and capability‑based planning. Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 9+ years of professional experience or a master’s degree with 7+ years of experience. Lockheed Martin is an equal‑opportunity employer.
