Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Lewiston, ME

Department: Coronary Care Unit

Available Shifts: Nights

Compensation: Up to $1,451.52 – $1,982.16 gross weekly

Duration of Assignment: 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Deliver direct patient care within your professional scope
• Educate patients and their families; oversee nursing support staff
• Uphold care standards in the Coronary Care Unit
• Take responsibility for the care of assigned patients
• Communicate clinical changes to physicians, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostics
• Respond promptly and accurately to any changes in patient condition or treatment response

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid state RN License
• Hold a current BLS certification upon hire and maintain it
• Have a current ACLS certification upon hire and keep it updated
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification required upon hire
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an Acute Care hospital setting is necessary
• Experience with Ventilator Management is preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
