Project Executive

Project Executive As a Project Executive, you will provide high-level project oversight, lead a project management team, set expectations and objectives, and manage all financial aspects of assigned responsibilities. This role also involves overseeing financial planning, talent development, and developing client relationships for future sales. Operations Management (Scope & Schedule), Leadership & Strategic Planning Operations Management Ensure the project team manages all project documentation, preplanning, hand-off, prefab, job set-up, policies, procedures, schedules, resources, etc. Monitor and oversee project financial performance; coach and advise PMs and Superintendents in preparing for monthly reviews; attend reviews. Promote and encourage safety on projects. Negotiate changes by coaching, advising, and leading team members; attend negotiations as needed. Oversee and/or perform pre‑construction activities. Leadership Coach, mentor, and develop team members. Collaborate with other leaders to plan workforce needs and drive the project. Manage performance and goals, motivating and inspiring the team to exceed targets. Build and cultivate an effective team to support business goals. Recruit and interview candidates to build an effective team. Strategic Planning Develop, lead, and support strategic initiatives for the group, division, and/or company. Actively participate in corporate strategic initiatives as assigned. Relationships and Sales Develop, Build & Maintain Relationships Develop and maintain relationships with key clients (owners and general contractors). Actively participate in industry associations and networking events. Manage Sales Process Establish industry relationships to support future project sales. Attend customer outings and events. Communicate company interest and capabilities to potential customers for future projects and/or change orders. Provide leadership and oversight for assigned team proposals, including estimating and proposal writing. Cost Estimation Oversee/performs estimation process for project requirements and scope changes; coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Oversee and/or assist/prepare scope/proposal letters. Financial Management Ensure projects meet financial objectives; track, monitor, and report regularly (labor productivity, weekly PDCA, risk management, communications, purchasing, billings, collections, PM reviews, etc.). Safety Perform site walkthroughs and inspections. Ensure site safety compliance by maintaining site-specific safety plans, audits, toolbox talks, pre-task planning, and proficiency in using Industry Safe. What We're Looking For in You Bachelor's degree in Technical or Construction Management preferred. 10+ years of advanced knowledge and proficiency in the building & construction industry. 10+ years of strong understanding of mechanical systems. 10+ years of ability to read and comprehend construction documents. 10+ years of knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. 10+ years of construction Project Management experience. 10+ years of Business administration and management principles, including: Company operations and financials, Customer relations, Business development and project sales strategies, Legal aspects of construction industry.
