See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Position Overview:Within product management, the category operations group integrates data and develops intuitive solutions to assist internal and external customers navigate the most comprehensive marine propulsion portfolio in the industry, offering products from prop to helm. This work delivers valuable information, builds knowledge, and supports aligning products to customer application.Configure Price Quote is a vital platform to enable integration and sales of complex marine propulsion systems. The configuration solutions manager will focus on expanding product offerings within CPQ, improve system integrations, and enhance usability and performance to support Mercury’s channel partners.You will collaborate with a diverse cross functional group including product integration and engineering, product managers, sales, service, and IT partners to translate business requirements into high quality CPQ solutions.Why This Role MattersThe Mercury Vessel Configurator is a core enabler for complete and accurate propulsion system bill of materials, sales efficiency, and customer experience. This role directly supports:Product launchesAttachment rates & quote accuracyUser adoption and best partner user experienceScalable growth of digital sales toolsAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.Essential Functions:CPQ Configuration & DevelopmentDesign, build, and maintain product models, rules, and configurations within Oracle CPQSupport ongoing product launches and changes within the configuratorAdd and maintain engine, controls and rigging, and accessory product configurations with complex dependencies and constraintsDevelop pricing logic, validations, and guided selling experiencesIntegration & Data EnablementBuild and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ and downstream/upstream systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, pricing, product data sources)Support data flows for product attributes, pricing, and configuration outputsTroubleshoot and resolve data and integration issuesUI / UX ImprovementsImprove configurator usability, performance, and responsivenessPartner with product and UX resources to implement user‑focused design improvementsReduce friction for internal and external users through simplified workflowsQuality, Support & Continuous ImprovementPerform testing, debugging, and performance optimizationSupport production issues and provide root‑cause analysisContribute to documentation, standards, and best practicesHelp reduce technical debt and improve long‑term system maintainabilityDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required Qualifications:3 + years of hands‑on Oracle CPQdevelopment or experience with similar CPQ type programsStrong experience with:Oracle CPQ product modelingConfiguration rules and constraintsPricing and proposal logicProficiency in CPQ scripting (BML, JavaScript, SQL)Experience integrating CPQ with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, product data systems)Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExperience working in Agile or product‑oriented delivery teamsStrong problem‑solving and debugging skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical fieldPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting complex, configurable products (manufacturing, automotive, recreation, or industrial products preferred)Experience working on guided selling, personalization, dynamic upsell/cross-sell solutionsFamiliarity with UX/UI best practices in enterprise applicationsKnowledge of Oracle CPQ Commerce, Configuration, and Integration modulesSoft Skills & Ways of WorkingComfortable working in a lean team environment with high ownership and bias for actionStrong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholdersAble to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on schedule to meet program deadlinesCollaborative and user-centric mindset with the ability to connect work to business outcomesThe anticipated pay range for this position is $86,500 - $126,800, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
