Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in a surgical ophthalmic setting. Responsibilities include: administering anesthesia, conducting pre-anesthetic assessments, developing patient-specific anesthesia plans, monitoring vital signs, providing post-anesthesia care, maintaining accurate records, and educating patients and families. Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with safety protocols. Respond to emergencies with airway management, life-saving medications, and CPR if needed. Participate in continuing education to maintain certification and advance clinical skills. Qualifications: Current, unrestricted CRNA license in Florida, a masters' or DNP from an accredited program, NBCRNA certification, with 1-2 years of experience in ambulatory or ophthalmic surgery centers. Skills required include proficiency with anesthesia equipment, strong understanding of pharmacology and physiology, excellent communication, and critical thinking abilities.
