Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and couples therapy to a diverse client base, focusing on a wide range of mental health issues.

• Maintain prompt and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and therapeutic interventions.

• Schedule ongoing appointments and ensure an updated calendar of client encounters to facilitate a seamless therapeutic process.

• Assess client needs and develop tailored treatment plans while considering their unique backgrounds and presenting clinical issues.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, educators, and community resources to provide holistic care to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will involve working with a wide-ranging population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults who require mental health support in a school setting. You will be instrumental in promoting resilience and mental well-being in the school environment, working closely with educators and school staff to address student needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology is required.

• Current licensure to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

• Self-motivated, culturally competent, and capable of maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 20-25 hours per week availability, with at least two evenings open each week for client appointments.
