Position Overview

The Case Manager manages a portfolio of client cases and helps move each matter through key stages of the legal process. This position involves client communication, documentation, case organization, quality checks, and coordination with outside professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned cases and keep client information accurate and current.
• Communicate with clients by phone, email, text, and in person.
• Collect information, complete forms and questionnaires, and provide case updates.
• Review client files and medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with experts, appraisers, contractors, and other outside partners.
• Meet filing deadlines and ensure required documentation is submitted on time.
• Conduct quality checks and audits throughout the case process.
• Assist with community outreach, appointments, phone calls, and events when needed.
• Prioritize daily tasks while meeting productivity and service expectations.
• Maintain an understanding of the legal matters and claims being supported.
• Work additional evenings or weekends when deadlines or business needs require it.
• Take on other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in case management, legal services, mass torts, or a related field.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and tools such as Salesforce, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, process-focused environment.
• Patient, professional, and empathetic when working with clients, especially during stressful situations.

Work Environment

This role involves extended computer use, frequent phone and written communication, repetitive hand and wrist movements, and sitting for periods of time. The position may involve working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
