Assistant Director Of Human Resources
As an Assistant Director of Human Resources, you will:
- Provide full technical and administrative oversight of the Talent Acquisition Branch and Executive Resources Branch, directing, coordinating, and evaluating all branch operations.
- Oversee special projects that strengthen oversight, internal compliance, and operational effectiveness across HR functions.
- Exercise significant responsibility when collaborating with agency management officials across OIG/OMP, HHS components, and other Federal agencies.
- Initiate corrective actions to resolve employee and contractor work-related issues, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution.
- Make or approve selections for subordinate non-supervisory positions and interview candidates for appointments, promotions, or reassignments.
- Review and recommend disciplinary actions, and recommend awards, bonuses, or classification changes for non-supervisory staff.
- Administer agency recruitment and placement programs, including issuing vacancy announcements, determining qualifications, coordinating evaluation panels, and processing personnel actions.
- Develop and manage OIG's Senior Executive Service (SES) performance management and executive resources programs, including SES staffing, pay administration, ERB oversight, and required OPM reporting.
