[Responsibilities]

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as Amazon Athena, Redshift, Glue, and S3
- Develop and optimize relational data models for financial reporting and analytics use cases
- Write, tune, and troubleshoot advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and data views
- Implement ETL processes to ingest, transform, and validate financial data from diverse sources
- Deliver reliable, automated data pipelines with robust monitoring and error handling
- Build datasets, dashboards, and semantic models in Power BI for business and finance stakeholders
- Apply AI tools and large language models to enhance data workflows and analytics capabilities
- Uphold data quality, security, and governance standards in all solutions
- Collaborate with finance, reporting, and technology teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

[Required Skills and Experience]

- 3-4 years in a technical data engineering or financial reporting role
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Data Services (Athena, Redshift, Glue, S3)
- Strong proficiency in database design and T-SQL
- Demonstrated ETL and data integration experience
- Familiarity with Power BI for financial and business reporting
- Solid understanding of data pipeline architecture and best practices
- Analytical problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communicator with the ability to simplify technical concepts

[Preferred Skills]

- 1-2 years experience applying AI tools in data engineering or analytics workflows
- Experience grounding large language models to structured enterprise data
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, insurance, or financial services
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP/EPM modules and financial data hierarchies
- Smart View experience for financial analysis and reporting
