PGIM Credit, Investments Senior Director (New York)

This role, within PGIM Private Capital, leads a team responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing senior debt (investment grade / below investment grade), direct lending, mezzanine, and structured equity investments in the Northeastern region of the U.S.

PGIM is seeking a PGIM Credit, Investments Senior Director (New York) to join their Private Credit team in New York, United States.

The position is On-site.

Responsibilities

• originating new senior debt and junior capital investment opportunities typically ranging in size from $20-300+ million across a broad range of industries and transaction types;
• structuring complex and customized transactions and communicating investment recommendations to investment committees;
• developing and maintaining relationships with clients, prospects, sponsors, and intermediaries within the geographic territory;
• working closely with in-house and outside counsel to structure, negotiate, and document loan agreements;
• managing and developing analysts and associates reporting into the New York office;
• working closely with the Managing Director on office and PGIM Private Capital objectives.

Requirements

• bachelor's degree required;
• 10+ years of experience in private credit, private placement, commercial banking or corporate finance;
• direct calling/origination experience at C-Suite level;
• proven track record of making and managing debt investments.
