• Salary: $50,000–$60,000+ per year, (based on licensure and experience) + Benefits

Higher compensation may be considered for candidates located in Warrenton. In-person positions may offer higher compensation than hybrid or fully remote positions, all other factors being equal.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Clinician to join our behavioral health team in Warrenton, North Carolina. The clinician will provide clinical assessments and individual and group psychotherapy to clients in the community and individuals residing in our halfway houses.

Our organization provides comprehensive behavioral health and substance-use services to adults, children, and families. Clinicians work collaboratively with peer support specialists, prescribers, and other members of the treatment team to provide coordinated, recovery-focused care.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing clinical services to clients in community and residential settings.
• Collaborate with peer support specialists, prescribers, and other behavioral health professionals.
• Provide services to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance-use disorders.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support continuity of care and coordinate services as appropriate.
• Work with clients from diverse backgrounds and populations, including Medicaid clients.
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, ethical, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.

-> Required Qualifications

• LCSWA or LCMHCA required.
• LCSW or LCMHC preferred.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related clinical field as required for applicable licensure.
• Active North Carolina clinical license/credential appropriate for the position.
• Strong clinical assessment, psychotherapy, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

• LCAS or LCASA preferred , or willingness to register for LCASA after hire.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing substance-use disorders.
• Experience providing behavioral health or community-based mental health services.
• Experience working with Medicaid populations.
• Experience working collaboratively with prescribers and peer support specialists.
