Role Summary As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will manage invoice processing, purchase order workflows, and related financial reconciliations for Holman’s automotive services organization. Responsibilities Process invoices for a variety of payments and payment types, including CV sales, corporate vendors, stocks, directs, body invoices, violations, etc. Code corporate invoices with the proper General Ledger account numbers. Handle all aspects of purchase order processing, including issuance, approval, and matching to invoices. Identify and distribute checks over $2,000 for second signature related to payments mentioned above. Handle vendor billing inquiries for both corporate and fleet accounts. Reconcile assigned subsidiary ledgers and bank accounts, resolving all items past 30 days in a timely manner. Manage void checks through Infinium and stop payments through the banking website as required. Prepare month‑end reporting for AP‑related reportable accounts for financial statements. Post various daily AP system feeds. Perform daily open and close, including associated aging reports. Manage monthly expense reporting and reconciliation. Manage all company‑related credit card issuance, charges, and reconciliations. Manage the vendor database, including annual 1099 reporting, tax ID validation, and vendor record cleanup. Handle all invoice processing of rejected payments to ensure correct vendors are paid and incorrect vendors are debited properly. Provide backup coverage to other functions within the AP department. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced knowledge of Infinium Accounting System, EVOS, and GDT systems. Advanced knowledge of expense system for tracking corporate invoices and check printing system. Advanced knowledge of banking systems used to operate online system.
