Job Summary
Chiro Center One is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist to join our this role you will be responsible for managing the billing process from start to finish ensuring accurate claim submission timely reimbursement and compliance with all applicable regulations. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and take pride in accuracy we want to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of medical billing claims
- Review and verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Resolve billing issues and denials
- Communicate with insurance companies healthcare providers and patients regarding billing matters
- Maintain billing records and documentation
- Follow up on unpaid claims and outstanding balances
- Adhere to compliance regulations and coding standards
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in medical billing software and coding systems
- Knowledge of insurance procedures regulations and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in medical billing or related field is a plus
Desired Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in medical billing
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
Salary & Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $30.75 per hour
- Maximum Salary: $35.54 per hour
- Benefits: Health insurance retirement plan paid time off
