Position SummaryManhattan Christian College seeks a Christ-centered, visionary, and relational leader to serve as its next President. The President serves as the chief executive officer of the College and is responsible for providing spiritual, strategic, and administrative leadership that advances the mission of the institution while preserving its biblical and Restoration Movement identity.The President will lead the College in strengthening enrollment, enhancing financial sustainability, supporting academic excellence, cultivating donor and church relationships, and guiding the institution into its next century of ministry impact.Mission“To educate, equip, and enrich Christian leaders to impact the church and the world for Christ.”Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and direction for the CollegeServe as the primary spiritual and institutional leader of MCCAdvance strategic growth initiatives and institutional sustainabilityStrengthen relationships with churches, alumni, donors, students, and community partnersLead and support administrative divisions and senior leadershipEnsure faithful stewardship of financial, human, and physical resourcesPromote and protect the mission, values, and theological identity of the CollegeReport regularly to the Board of Trustees regarding institutional operations and progressSupport enrollment growth, student development, and campus vitalityRepresent the College publicly with clarity, humility, and convictionDesired QualificationsDemonstrated leadership experience in higher education, ministry, nonprofit leadership, or organizational managementStrong communication, relationship-building, and fundraising abilityProven organizational leadership and strategic planning experienceGraduate-level education required; theological training strongly preferred; earned doctorate desirableCommitment to the Independent Christian Church/Churches of Christ and Restoration Movement idealsDesired CharacteristicsThe ideal candidate will be:A deeply committed follower of Jesus ChristA servant leader marked by humility, prayer, integrity, and wisdomRelational, approachable, and able to foster unity across constituenciesVisionary and mission-driven with a heart for Christian higher educationPassionate about developing students and strengthening the ChurchEmotionally mature, resilient, and capable of leading through changeAbout Manhattan Christian CollegeFounded in 1927, Manhattan Christian College is a private Christian college located across from Kansas State Universityin Manhattan.
