Shift Schedule (Full-time): Monday-Friday (7:30AM-4:00PM or 7:00am to 3:30pm)

Base Pay Rate: $22.00 to $27.00/hr.

PositionSummary:

We're seeking detail-oriented Deburring Specialists where you will work with high-precision components serving aerospace,medical, and advanced manufacturing industries where attention to detail and quality output iscritical. This role is perfect for someone who combines skilled hands with akeen eye for detail and a desire to build a long-term career.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform precision deburring operations on machinedcomponents including filing, edge breaking, blending, surface finishing, sanding, deburring, cleaning, grinding,masking and polishing parts in accordance with quality standards.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surfaceimperfections using various hand tools and equipment.
• Inspect parts for compliance with customerspecifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verifypart quality.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and workinstructions.
• Documentation in ERP/MRP software system.
• Identify common partdefects; and completes standard work independently while escalatingcomplex issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, required; Trade or Vocationalcertificate in precision machining, desired.
• 2+ years of experience deburring, polishing, surface finishing, grinding, masking, and polishing precision metal parts in accordance with quality standards.
• Able to read and interpret engineering blueprints, &GD&T.
• Experience in using manual, electric hand tools, deburringequipment, and precision measurement tools, required.
• Must come from precision machining or highly-regulated manufacturing industries, preferably aerospace, defense, and medical industries.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as; calipers, micrometers, microscopes, height gauges, etc.
• Must be able to commute daily.

In accordance with applicable New York State law, the compensation range for this position is $22.00 to $27.00/hr. The posted compensation range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it is willing to pay for this position at the time of posting. Environment& Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk andhear.
• The job may involve prolonged periods of sitting andstanding.
• Specific vision abilities required by this jobinclude close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depthperception, and ability to adjust focus. May involve prolonged periods ofmagnified inspection (eye strain).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand andfinger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
• The employee is frequently required to use thecomputer.
• May involve the use of oils and solvents.
• Subject to some soilage and irritation from cleaningsolutions. (Lab Coats provided)
• Generally, works in a clean environment and works tomaintain the environment as such.
• Safety Glasses are required and may require areaspecific safety training
• This position works in a manufacturing environment.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• May work at different workstations as productionneeds require, or shifts from one station to another, during theproduction process.
