Pay Rate: $41.44 per hour

What's a typical day as a Staff Accountant? You'll be:

• Managing full-charge bookkeeping activities, including accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P)
• Preparing journal entries, monthly accruals, and depreciation entries for review
• Performing monthly general ledger (GL), account, and bank reconciliations
• Overseeing remote business unit balance sheets, preparing monthly balance sheet reviews, and creating financial reports
• Assisting with the month-end close process and preparing supporting schedules
• Analyzing financial data to identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and eliminate unnecessary journal entries
• Partnering and coordinating cross-functionally with finance team members, business unit operations, and IT

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Have at least 3 years of professional accounting experience
• Possess mandatory, hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas)
• Have previous experience with Oracle or SAP (preferred / nice-to-have)
• Are highly self-motivated, self-directed, quick to learn, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Bring proven leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and a track record of driving process improvements
