Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with specialized experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) settings. The ideal candidate will have the expertise and versatility to provide care in adult floors, ICU, as well as Level IV NICU.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy services to patients in NICU and other hospital units.Perform assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans.Administer and manage respiratory therapy treatments according to established protocols.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies and management.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with mandatory NICU experience.National Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).Current Washington State respiratory license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Must be willing to float between different units within the hospital as needed.Availability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and weekends as needed.Additional Information:Position Type: Full-time, Night Shift (3x12 hours).First-time travelers are welcome to apply.RTO (Requests for Time Off) restrictions may apply, with a maximum of one week allowed.EPIC charting experience preferred.Scrub color is flexible, with scrubs provided for OR personnel.Parking is available at a daily cost.If you are a qualified Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience who is committed to providing excellent patient care and is ready for a challenging yet rewarding experience, we encourage you to apply.
