Respiratory Therapist - NICUWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. This position will involve working with critically ill patients, both in the NICU and adult care settings, providing essential respiratory care and diagnostics.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide respiratory therapy in the NICU and adult units.Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and medications.Conduct diagnostic tests and evaluations to determine respiratory issues.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and therapies.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education initiatives.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with experience in both NICU and adult care settings.Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, CRT; RRT preferred.Formal NICU training and at least 1-year NICU experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work every other weekend.SchedulingThis position requires 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to float to other locations within the region.
