Join a team that is STRONGER THAN STEEL, by applying to become a Quality Control Clerk at our Miami, FL location.Summary ClarkDietrich is seeking an experienced Quality Control Clerk to assist in all areas of Quality Control, Receiving, & Purchasing.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSchedule inbound freight raw materialAssist with receiving of raw materialCompletion and processing of all receiving documentationTesting of raw material including obtaining of samplesProcure all plant supplies (Wood, PPE, Paint, etc)Maintain Plant supplies inventoryFile mill certificationsMaintain all paperwork for quality audits (SSMA, ICC, etc)Pull mill certifications for ordersEnsure calibration of all testing equipment including proper record keepingVerify quality sheets for completeness and accuracyData entry of various informationAny other duties required by supervisorQualificationsAttention to detailTime managementExcellent organizational and record keeping skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etcAbility to burn or cutAbility to operate an overhead craneAbility to operate an industrial lift truckBasic mechanical aptitudeEducation And/Or ExperiencePrior burning and cutting experiencePrior experience working in an industrial manufacturing environmentBasic computer skillsPrior experience utilizing quality control measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, etc)Mathematical SkillsBasic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals.Physical RequirementsLifting-Up to 50 lbs.Standing-8 or more hours per dayWalking-Off and on as needed, 4-6 hours per dayBody Positions-Squatting, bending, flexing and extending both armsGrasping-OccasionallySitting-Off and on, 4-6 hours per dayPushing Effort-Carts of finished product and tools, up to 50 lbs.Pulling-Tools and finished product, up to 50 lbs.Climbing-OccasionallyClimb up and down stairs-OccasionallyWork EnvironmentManufacturing facility - exposed to heat and coldPersonal Protective Equipment required at all timesControlled Noise exposureClarkDietrich Benefits IncludeFull benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts and Life Insurance)401(k) with company matchAnnual IncentivePaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementProfessional Certification Reimbursement ProgramCommunity Service Day
