Expereince Bilingual Phlebotomist

Location: Aishling Ob/Gyn INC, 931 E. Sandhurst, Sandwich, IL 60548. Work Schedule: Monday 8:30 – 5:00, Tuesday 8:30 – 6:00, Wednesday 8:30 – 5:30, Thursday 8:30 – 5:30, Friday 9:00 – 3:00. Client may occasionally schedule a Saturday morning once a month; varies. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completion of an accredited training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Bilingual Spanish proficiency. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency required if no work experience. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range: $17.50 – $24.50 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours and casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible for the 401(k) plan only.
