Senior Attorney

New York City | Hybrid LWS has been engaged to identify a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney for one of New York City's premier real estate law firms. This attorney will lead sophisticated commercial leasing transactions, advise institutional owners, developers, investors, and commercial tenants, and serve as the primary legal advisor throughout each stage of the transaction. Your Practice You'll structure, draft, negotiate, and close complex commercial leases across office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, restaurant, healthcare, and other commercial asset classes. Beyond lease negotiations, you'll advise clients on operating expenses, construction, use restrictions, assignment and subletting, guaranties, defaults, casualty, condemnation, and other issues that shape sophisticated leasing transactions. You'll work directly with clients, brokers, lenders, consultants, and opposing counsel while managing matters independently and collaborating with an accomplished transactional real estate team. Qualifications Admitted to the New York Bar. 7+ years of commercial leasing experience. Proven ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions and client relationships. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and practical problem-solving skills. Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, or commercial real estate finance is a plus. Portable business is welcomed but not required.
