Mental Health TherapistThe Mental Health Therapist is an exempt position that is responsible for providing clinical consultation, crisis intervention, clinical interventions, and case management services for Tribal WrapAround clients who have been identified as being high risk for homelessness or is currently homeless. The position responds to crisis intervention by assisting the Team in de-escalating crisis and assessing such crisis for potential hospitalization. Provides clinical consultation to care coordinators under the program. Assist the leadership with establishing and maintaining licensure and accreditation for behavioral health services/clinic. This position requires licensure as a MSW Clinical Social Worker with the ability to bill out for services.Tribal and Indian Preference: Under the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. § 450e (b)), the Dry Creek Rancheria applies the policy of "Tribal and Indian Preference" when filling vacancies. Tribal and Indian Preference shall be given to qualified applicants who are enrolled members of a federally recognized Indian tribe or band. The Dry Creek Rancheria reserves the right to require applicants claiming to be American Indian or Alaskan Native a copy of their Certificate of Tribal Enrollment or Certificate of Degree of Indian or Alaska Native Blood (CDIB) card.LCSW - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to):The LCSW conducts comprehensive mental health and co-occurring disorder assessments.Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.Develop and implement safety plans to support clients in the least restrictive settings.Coordinate with care teams to ensure integrated treatment planning.Maintain confidential client records in compliance with program and state guidelines.The LCSW works with schools, medical facilities, and social service agencies to enhance service delivery.Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and interdisciplinary collaboration.Assist in maintaining program licensure and accreditation.Submit reports and documentation in a timely manner.Stay updated on continuing education to maintain licensure and professional growth.The LCSW provides clinical consultation to care coordinators and direct service providers.LCSW - REQUIREMENTSEducation: Must have a Masters Degree in Social WorkLicensure: Must have a full, unrestricted license for clinical mental health in the State of California.
