X-ray/CT Tech

This position offers 4 ten-hour shifts per week with on-call shifts. The typical shifts are from 07:30 to 18:30 or 08:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

As an X-ray/CT Tech, you will operate radiographic equipment to obtain ordered radiographs in accordance with department routines and procedures. This role requires you to position patients, adjust equipment for proper exposure settings, complete the exam in the electronic medical record, and verify images in the PACs system. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services specifically in Computed Tomography. Additionally, you will conduct interviews with patients, explain procedures, and assist in positioning patients for procedures. You will also engage in reviewing test results with radiologists and referring physicians.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain precise radiographs.
• Position patients correctly and adjust equipment for optimal imaging results.
• Complete radiology exams in the electronic medical record and ensure images are verified in the PACs system.
• Perform diagnostic imaging services in Computed Tomography.
• Interview patients and explain procedures clearly.
• Assist patients in proper positioning for imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to review test results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Ideal candidates should possess relevant certifications and licensure in radiology and computed tomography, with demonstrated experience in performing diagnostic imaging services.
