Job Summary:
The Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory Nurse position is based in a healthcare facility located in Saint Augustine, Florida. This role involves supporting adult and geriatric patient populations in an intraprocedural setting within the electrophysiology lab. The position offers a 13-week assignment, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week, from 07/27/2026 to 10/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: No formal experience required; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years of specialty experience in cardiac electrophysiology; current certification in RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including coverage in the Catheterization Lab if electrophysiology is closed and scrub needs arise
• Orientation & Training: 2-day orientation with system and modality training, including intraprocedural patient care documentation in Epic system
• Roles & Responsibilities: Scrub and circulate in EP procedures, provide ancillary support; no CNAs, PCTs, or unit clerks required; team may include 35 support staff and advanced practitioners on unit is not specified
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients aged 18+ requiring electrophysiology services
• Equipment and Support: Experience with scrub procedures and recording stimulations required; respiratory and anesthesia services available 24/7
• Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs, closed-toe non-permeable shoes, groomed hair/beard during sterile procedures, no nail polish, jewelry not allowed
• Time Off (RTO): No RTO during the first two weeks; up to 8 days of RTO allowed for the entire duration
• Travel Requirements: No travel required
