State Licensed Legal Counsel

To support a growing legal team, the full-time State Licensed Legal Counsel will manage the drafting, negotiation, implementation, and lifecycle management of commercial agreements remotely, focusing on contracts related to EPR programs and sustainability initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance for various agreements Provide targeted legal analysis on regulatory requirements impacting contract terms and obligations Serve as a primary legal advisor to business teams on contract strategy and risk allocation Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state 5+ years of experience focused on commercial contract drafting and negotiation Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems is strongly preferred
